Juventus seem full of doubts for next season, as it isn’t even guaranteed that Massimiliano Allegri will be in charge of the team.
Among the players who could end up leaving the Old Lady in the summer, there’s Frederico Chiesa, who’s today linked to Newcastle United again.
The story comes from Corriere Dello Sport, and claim that while the winger’s contract with Juventus expires in 2025, there’s no guarantee he’ll sign an extension.
With eight goals and two assists in 31 appearances this season, Chiesa is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €40m.
Now it remains to be seen whether Juventus would risk losing him for free in 2025, or if they could make a discount on his price in the summer.
Newcastle surely would have the money to make the operation possible, so it’s up to their decision to put a bid on the table. As it stands, the Magpies potentially swooping appears to be dangled like a threat towards Juventus but it hasn’t had an impact yet.
