Earlier this month, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Newcastle United were ready to make an offer for Éderson and even tried to force Atalanta’s hand in the winter market.
The Tyneside club weren’t successful but continue to have the midfielder on their transfer agenda.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who state Newcastle are still keen on securing the 24-year-old’s services after this season.
It’s claimed Eddie Howe’s side ‘will do everything’ to take him away from the Italian club.
The Brazilian is one of the key players for Gian Piero Gasperini, both while going forward and when defending. He’s scored six goals and registered an assist from 29 games this season.
Focusing on his performances, the website says the South American is a ‘workaholic’ in the middle of the pitch.
In addition to Newcastle, Juventus are also in the mix. The Old Lady want to sign Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners and Éderson is identified as an alternative.
That’s not the case with Newcastle, and they’ll do everything they can to try and sign him. Calciomercato say Atalanta value Éderson at €30m.
