West Ham United, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are reportedly looking to press ahead in their pursuit of AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori.
MilanLive have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of the centre-back, with the outlet claiming that Milan are looking to sign Lazio’s Mario Gila, who is valued at €30m by the Roman side. To land the Spaniard, Milan would need to sell a player to earn funds.
That player is likely to be Tomori, who can be sacrificed as he continues to struggle to impress under manager Paulo Fonseca.
The outlet states that West Ham, Newcastle and Aston Villa are all interested in the 27-year-old defender and there’s some confidence an effort is on the way. That effort could happen as early as January.
While a sale in the winter transfer window might be difficult, with the Rossoneri wanting €30m, it’s certainly possible is someone approaches the required fee.
The values of both Tomori and Gila are similar and this can help Fonseca’s side land the defender from Lazio. Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham can be of huge help in their chase.
