As Newcastle United defender Fabian Schär this weekend spoke to Blick, he took part in a little quiz about his favourite players.
The 32-year-old was asked to pick a footballer for each specific feature, and then to choose the best player of all time.
The Newcastle player clearly didn’t mind mentioning Manchester City players, as when asked about the best right foot, Schär went straight for Kevin De Bruyne.
The defender then picked Lionel Messi for the best left foot, Clarence Seedorf for the best physique, and Peter Crouch when it came to best header.
Schär then chose another Manchester City player, this time Kyle Walker, for the best speed, and remembered Barcelona legend Andrés Iniesta for the best technique.
Now even though Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t named in any of those features, he was chosen by Schär as the best of all time, after some thinking from the Newcastle United player.
That ended up being a nice mix of current and retired footballers, with him having a little throwback to some heroes from his teenage years.
