Loic Bade might never have played in the Premier League at Nottingham Forest, but his performances in La Liga could yet lead him back to the English top flight.
Reports in England have spoken of interest from Newcastle United and Liverpool, as Bade continues to impress for Sevilla this season.
Estadio Deportivo have looked at the Frenchman’s situation and interest from the Reds and Newcastle.
Their report goes on to mention that despite talk of the English clubs being interested in Bade, those in charge at Sevilla don’t have any record of any interest from anyone.
In what is a rather dismissive update, the outlet states Sevilla are ‘calm’ about the situation and Bade will not be allowed to leave in January unless a very high offer arrives.
They go on to dismiss English claims further, stating that the defender has a release clause worth €60m in his contract and that is what has to be paid to land him.
The indication is that Bade is the Spanish club’s biggest financial asset and if Newcastle want to sign him, they would have to pay exactly what Sevilla want.
