There was a big sense of expectation around Dean Huijsen when the defender arrived at Bournemouth from Juventus in the summer.
The centre-back played regularly for the Cherries early on in the campaign but has had only one minute of Premier League football in the last five games.
There has already been talk of a premature exit and that possibility is now picking up.
MilanNews have reported there’s unhappiness in those close to the player about his situation at Bournemouth. Because of that, his entourage is considering an early exit to progress his development, which they feel has been stifled at the Cherries.
A return to Italy is a possibility and that could be an escape route for Huijsen, who is attracting interest from Milan.
The feeling is that Huijsen’s profile suits the Rossoneri’s recruitment model and the Italian giants could execute an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
It isn’t known whether a deal like that would suit Bournemouth or not but the outlet mentions that it ‘could go through’ in January.
