Eddie Howe’s side have ‘already planned to position themselves’ and ‘will not hesitate to take out the chequebook’ to get Fofana’s signing done. The competition from the Tyneside club is what ‘scares the leaders of Lyon’.
It’s claimed the player’s trend is ‘clearly in a favour of a transfer’ this summer. Lens, who will ‘demand a high price’, will find it ‘difficult to reject tempting offers’, if one were to come from Newcastle.
