West Ham United are in the picture to sign Club Brugge star Noa Lang in the summer window.

The 22-year-old had been deployed mainly on the left wing but has been used across all attacking positions in the recently conclude season. He managed nine goals and 15 assists from 48 matches in all competitions.

Lang’s displays for the Jupiler Pro League side have drawn interest from West Ham United and AC Milan.

Calciomercato.it now explain the Italian champions, via the winger’s agent and other intermediaries, are ‘pushing to tighten the deal’. However, they are facing several pitfalls and one of the reasons is down to finances.

The salary offered to the Netherlands international is €2.5m per year, while Club Brugge will need a fee of €25m to part ways with him. The Serie A winners are ‘behind’ West Ham United, who have joined the race to sign Lang.

It’s claimed that David Moyes’ side are ‘ready to offer’ an annual salary of €3m. Despite the Premier League side being ready to offer higher wages to the Dutchman, his priority is to make a switch to the San Siro.

Milan must act fast if they wish to secure his services. The report states a new meeting is set up next week with Lang’s representatives, to see if a deal could be agreed.
