Newcastle enter picture for signing – Player ‘changes his mind’, and January move on cards

Three days ago, Calciomercto reported Everton are the ‘only team that has come forward’ for Aaron Ramsey.

Another report from the same website now states the Toffees and Crystal Palace have carried out polls for the Juventus player. The duo are joined by Newcastle United.

The Magpies have had a new owner after Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund confirmed the purchase of the Premier League side earlier this month.

Everton and Palace have carried out surveys for the 30-year-old for January. However,  ‘attention’ must be paid to to Newcastle, who have ‘every intention’ to bolster their squad in the winter market.

The Wales international has a contract until 2023, that includes a net salary of €7m per season. Juve chief Federico Cherubini wants to get rid of the player in order to save on his high wages.

Ramsey’s exit will help the Old Lady sign a new midfielder in January. Calciomercato say Juve’s ‘fate’ of this season ‘may depend on this mission’.

Newcastle now entering the picture for the former Arsenal man may be well received in Turin.

The player has been restricted to just over 100 minutes of action across four matches this season. After refusing to leave in the summer, the report says Ramsey ‘changes his mind’. He is now ‘considering a return the Premier League’ in the next window.
