Newcastle United youngster Yankuba Minteh has been described as Feyenoord’s ‘most threatening attacker’ as he continues to shine with the Dutch club.

Voetbal International cover the winger today, who has been making great strides in the Netherlands this season after joining on loan from the Magpies.

He joined Newcastle in a move from Odense in the summer but was immediately sent out on loan to Feyenoord to get regular playing time and establish himself in Europe.

He’s been able to do that, establishing himself as a regular under Arne Slot and earning rave reviews, so much so that it’s been speculated that Newcastle may look to bring him back in the January transfer window.

VI continue the praise of the youngster today, saying he’s back for clashes with Excelsior, Atletico Madrid and PSV, meaning the Dutch champions have their ‘most threatening attacker’ back in their ranks.

That’s a major positive as Minteh is ‘proving to be of great value’ to the club this season and a ‘nice bonus’ when other players aren’t up to the mark or able to provide something.

His speed makes him a danger to anyone but under Slot he is adding ‘calmness and overview’ to his game, something which is seeing him add more to his game and bring returns on the pitch.

He’s already exceeded what was expected of him and there could be more to come, provided Newcastle don’t decide to take him to St James Park in January that is.
