Newcastle have ‘made contact’ to try and sign left-back – Club ‘willing to sacrifice’ him for €15-20m

While a lot of the attention in Italy these days when it comes to Newcastle United is about Nicolò Barella, there are other players being looked at.

One of those, according to Calciomercato, is Rogerio, the full-back currently contracted to Sassuolo in Serie A, who appears far easier to get than the midfielder.

All this is why a club like Newcastle, who do need help down the left hand side of the defence, are interested, and already were back in January.
