From France: Malcom to Everton dependent on Lookman exit, €31.5m + bonuses offer ready

Kicked off by Sky Sports and confirmed by L’Equipe, it’s now Foot Mercato’s turn to jump aboard the Malcom to Everton bandwagon.

With Yannick Bolasie potentially on his way to Turkey and Ademola Lookman a target for Red Bull Leipzig in the Bundesliga, the Toffees could end up looking a bit light on the wing next season if they don’t bring in someone else.

According to the French website, the purchase of Malcom would only take place should the young Englishman head to Germany, confirming that both moves would be linked.

Marco Silva’s new side are said to have accumulated many scout reports on the Brazilian over the years, studied by both the Portuguese manager and director of football Marcel Brands, which is when they decided to tick him as an option.

Foot Mercato state Everton are ‘ready to offer €31.5m + bonuses’ to Bordeaux, who have set the asking price for their star at €40m.

It’s a lot of money, but if the Toffees can get €20m or so (that’s what they allegedly want) for Lookman, then the deal for Malcom wouldn’t look too bad.

Basically, unless the 20-year-old leaves, no Brazilian party.
