Earlier on Tuesday, we covered a story in CalcioNapoli24, who claimed Jorginho to Manchester City could be done in the next 48 hours after agreeing on a €63m deal.
The bid is broken down in €59m with €4m in bonuses, with the Cityzens wanting to pay everything over three years, while Napoli want it over two.
However, TuttoMercatoWeb believe new negotiations have taken place between the two sides regarding one of Pep Guardiola’s players, Oleksandr Zinchenko, who could be included in the deal.
The Ukrainian midfielder, who was primarily played at left-back by the Spaniard last season, has been a target for Napoli since last summer, with late stories of the two parties attempting to sort out a deal.
According to the Italian website, the youngster is a target for the Serie A side’s director of football, Cristiano Giuntoli, but his technical ability as well as his versatility have also convinced Carlo Ancelotti.
This means Jorginho’s deal could be delayed a bit, unless Guardiola decides to keep Zinchenko around, in which case it will be a cash-only deal.
