Although Michy Batshuayi still belongs to Chelsea, European outlets continue saying it’s Valencia who will negotiate his next destination.
With three goals in 21 appearances for the La Liga side so far, the striker is failing to impress and should soon move to a new temporary club.
Now it’s the Italian media with claims with today, as Calcio Mercato has a story about Roma’s chase for the player.
They say the Giallorossi are now aware they should speak to Valencia if they want to land him in the January window.
The Spanish club are currently not satisfied with his loan spell, and the plan to get rid of him will be executed by them, as apparently, Chelsea are not accepting returns.
Batshuayi has also recently been linked to a West Ham move, with the Spanish media saying Valencia have been negotiating an exchange of loanees with the Hammers. And besides Roma, Calcio Mercato also adds the interest from AC Milan in Batshuayi.
That could make the race for him pretty interesting, although it’s strange to see so many clubs interested in a player who’s being rejected.
