Posta report Galatasaray are still looking to sign Fernando Llorente from Tottenham Hotspur but they could target West Ham United’s Andy Carroll if they fail to bring in the former Swansea City player.

In recent weeks it’s been widely covered in the Turkish media that Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim wants to work with Llorente following reports the Spanish striker could leave Tottenham during the January transfer window.

According to Posta, Galatasaray are working hard to sign the forward, but they will need to convince the former Spain international over a move to the Super Lig.

According to the newspaper, Galatasaray are also looking at alternatives if they fail to sign Llorente, with West Ham United’s Andy Carroll being one of the players considered by Cim Bom, along with Hoffenheim striker Adam Szalai.

In recent weeks the West Ham forward has been linked with a move to the Istanbul club as they look to bring in a No.9.

Llorente has yet to start a Premier League game for Spurs this season.
