It seems that Everton star Richarlison keeps impressing in the Brazilian national team squad.
Earlier this week, we had already covered a story from UOL which said the player has been training very well, and is well adapted to his new teammates.
Now Globo Esporte brings an article which shows how manager Tite has been pretty impressed with the striker’s start at the national team.
“Richarlison is vertical, aggressive, has a nose for goals . Doesn’t want the sides. Even playing on the side, he verticalizes”, said Tite.
Globo Esporte writes that Richarlison’s best moments as a professionals were playing on the left wing, but he was scouted to play as a centre-forward, and that’s how he’s set to be used at the national team.
“There are several features in a number 9. His early career was like a 9, he played like that at Fluminense as well. Richarlison exudes competition, he verticalizes all. Less in combined play, more in vertical play”, analysed the manager.
Richarlison played a few minutes in the friendly match against United States on Friday, and is set to make his first appearance as a starter tonight against El Salvador.
With other players like Pedro, Roberto Firmino and Gabriel Jesus all fighting for the number nine shirt, the Everton forward needs a good performance to have a place in the next international break.
