It seems that Manchester United won’t have an easy task in case they really try to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus in the January transfer window.
Despite the rumours from the past few days, Italian newspaper Tuttosport has a story on Thursday saying it’s quite unlikely that the left-back will be leaving the Old Lady now.
They do report that José Mourinho could join Chelsea in the race for the player, as Manchester United are planning to spend big in order to catch up City in the league table.
But Juve have many reasons not to sell him in the middle of the season, especially because it would be difficult to replace him at this stage.
Although Alex Sandro hasn’t been in his best form, the Old Lady’s idea would be to keep the faith on him and wait for his improvement in the second half of the season. Something similar to what happened to Dani Alves last season.
Tuttosport even claims that it would be much easier for Manchester United to sign Danny Rose from Tottenham, since, in their opinion, the English player isn’t living the best of times with the club and could be bought with no big problems.
