Andreas Pereira has never hidden his wish to play for Valencia for the full season.
It all started in the summer window, when despite José Mourinho’s will to keep him in Manchester, the player insisted on moving to Spain. And now in different interviews, the midfielder makes it clear that he plans to stay there until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old gets quite big attention from the Valencian press every day, as the local outlets are always wondering if he’s staying at the club for more time or not. Especially after José Mourinho revealed there’s a clause to bring him back to England.
Super Deporte has one of those many stories today, this time claiming that now that the transfer window is open, Andreas’ future is in the Manchester United manager’s hands.
The website reports that Mourinho is keeping close tabs on the player, following his development game after game for the entire season.
Super Deporte also takes claims from several English outlets who have been saying that Andreas Pereira could improve Manchester United’s midfield for the rest of the season, and even has a couple of graphics to show how the team formation would be.
They write twice that a ‘WhatsApp’ would be enough to change Pereira’s future, as even though Manchester United and Valencia are not in contact, this issue should be resolved between Mourinho and Pereira.
