On Friday, Marca has a story telling the many market moves Valencia will be forced to make in the summer window.

As the club currently count with many players who were signed on loan deals, the fact that these contracts will expire at the end of the season will require several replacements in a few months.

One of them is Andreas Pereira, who arrived from Manchester United last year, and now is likely to return to England after not impressing enough in Spain.

When Marca writes about him and Gonçalo Guedes, players they consider similar, they say Valencia will do everything to keep the Portuguese. And as they report that the club also look for replacements, it’s implied that Andreas is leaving the club, so will be heading back to Old Trafford.

Not a surprising story, but when covering it today, Calcio Mercato says that Marca claimed Valencia will try to extend Andreas’ loan deal for one further year.

Perhaps a bit of a mistranslation there, which could become something bigger when English outlets start covering the Italian story.
