Vincenzo Morabito the intermediary involved in Everton’s pursuit of Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini has told the Italian media he hopes to get a deal done today. The Italy international has been linked with the Premier League in the past week following claims they tabled an offer for the former Sampdoria striker.
TMW have reported on comments Morabito made on Italian radio when asked about the situation with Gabbiadini, and also West Ham United linked Simone Zaza. Morabito said they must look to close the deal today because of the forthcoming Premier League weekend games.
Morabito realises clubs will become distracted because their focus will be on the games, so he hopes they can reach an agreement
“I hope so, yes, we must try to close today, make the most of the day because Saturday and Sunday there is the championship, they we all be a bit distracted, the coaches,” said Morabito when asked about getting a deal done for Gabbiadini.
Everton are hoping to bolster their attacking options before the transfer deadline, and are keen on Gabbiadini The Merseyside club are reportedly prepared to offer €25m for the player.
