Inter Milan are keen on acquiring Christian Eriksen’s services in the winter market.
According to Calciomercato, Inter chief Giuseppe Marotta met with the Tottenham Hotspur player’s agent, Martin Schoots, for dinner in Milan, during which ‘every detail was arranged’.
It’s claimed the Denmark international has found ‘total agreement’ for personal terms with the Nerazzurri. The deal would see him earn €8m per season in wages plus bonuses worth €2m.
The Spurs playmaker wants to join Antonio Conte’s side and he has once again reiterated to Schoots his desire to sign for the Serie A club.
Calciomercato also explains what’s missing for the deal to take shape. They claim Inter will put intermediaries to work to define an agreement with the north London club for Eriksen’s transfer.
It’s just ‘matter of time’ before the 27-year-old arrives at San Siro. They say Inter’s proposal reaches around €15m, while Tottenham are still demanding €20m.
There’s belief at the Italian club that the operation can be unlocked in the ‘next few days’.
Time should tell…
