Fotospor claim Trabzonspor manager Rıza Calimbay has told his club’s board he would like to sign Stoke City’s Bojan Krkic in January.
The Stoke City player is currently on loan with La Liga side Alaves, and his future with the Premier League side looks uncertain.
According to the Turkish website, Trabzonspor are looking to add a striker to their squad in the next transfer window, and the Stoke City owned attacker has emerged as a target, alongside Admir Mehmedi and Ishak Belfodil.
Bojan was also linked with a move to fellow Turkish side Fenerbahçe in the summer, but the Spaniard instead joined Alaves on loan.
Now, there’s a rather big problem here for this potential transfer. Before Bojan left Stoke on loan this season he played for the club against Everton and Rochdale.
That means he can only represent one more club this season, and has of course done that with Alaves. A move to Trabzonspor in January is therefore impossible.
