Manchester United are today back on being linked to Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira.
The Red Devils’ interest in the player had first been reported back in April, a following scouting visits to Dragons’ games, it was claimed the Old Trafford side were now ‘attentive’ to him.
Now as newspaper Correio da Manhã today features a short story on Vieira, they claim that England ‘calls’ for him this summer.
It’s said Manchester United and Tottenham are the two interested sides, as they both follow the player this summer.
Fabio Vieira has a contract with Porto until 2025 and is well protected with a €50m release clause.
Recent reports from the Portuguese media claimed that’s how much the Dragons will ask in case of a transfer, and only an amount close to those numbers will take him out of the club.
This season, he had seven goals and 16 assists for his club in all competitions, and besides Vieira, Manchester United have strongly been linked to his teammate Vitinha as well, with reports today claiming the Red Devils are leading the race for him.
