Alex Telles is having one of his best period of games since signing for Manchester United from FC Porto in October 2020.
He’s already had the same number of Premier League appearances as he did in the whole of last season, and has started the last three matches in the competition. Therefore, it would seem odd if the Red Devils were looking to see the back of him.
Despite that, L’Interista report the Brazilian has been offered to Inter Milan, which follows on from similar brief claims in Spain last week regarding Barcelona.
Telles spent a period on loan with Inter in the 2015/16 season from Galatasaray, before his successful move to Porto.
L’Interista report Manchester United don’t intend to loan their player out, and would instead want an ‘immediate cash offer’ to part ways in January. A potential fee is put at €15m+, yet none of this makes much sense for either the English club or the player himself.
Telles has been given a real opportunity to push Luke Shaw aside and make the left-back spot his own, so this could all be the result of an agent making moves in the background, without being asked to do so.
