It’s been quite a few years since we started covering rumours which link Yacine Brahimi to Premier League sides.
We’ve probably lost count of how many clubs got linked to the Algerian star so far, but the likes of Arsenal, Everton and West Ham have been much involved.
So although it’s not a surprise to read another report about the Premier League interest in the player today, what caught our eye was Manchester United being mentioned in the story.
Correio da Manhã says Brahimi has several proposals to move to England in the summer, when he’ll be a free agent, and the Red Devils are one of the clubs who made these offers.
Interestingly, the offers are reported at the end of a story about Brahimi’s recent injury. That’s pretty weird, because any new proposal for any Porto player would easily make a headline, especially when it involves Manchester United and a guy who’s so important for the team.
Brahimi has nine goals and six assists this season, and will certainly be chased by several sides until the summer market. But are Man United really among them? We wait and see now.
