There’s a possibility that Alexis Sanchez’s move from Manchester United to Inter Milan could be concluded today, according to reports from Italy.
Website FC Inter News claims the Chilean star is giving up on €500k from his annual wages, and that means a lot for the negotiations.
Alexis Sanchez is supposed to make €12m in the rest of the season. Manchester United wanted the amount to be split equally, but Inter Milan offer €5m, leaving the difference to €1m.
Now with the player’s gesture, there’s only a difference of €500k between the clubs, and that’s why there’s so much optimism about a deal.
Earlier this morning, we’ve covered reports from Italy saying Inter Milan’s €5m would be enough to get the deal done. So perhaps the Red Devils will soon accept the conditions and afford those last €500k.
Sanchez is said to be really keen on joining the Nerazzurri, and even if things aren’t done today, there’s confidence of a deal tomorrow.
