Manchester United and Southampton are both said to be interested in the Monaco midfielder Tiemoué Bakayoko, according to reports from Italy.
The 22-year-old is also a target for AC Milan, who CalcioMercato are claiming will check him live during the next week.
The website had already reported the Italian club’s chase for the player recently, but this is the first time they talk about the Premier League interest.
Bakayoko had already been linked to Manchester United by the French media. This month, Le10 Sport said the Red Devils could be forming a partnership with Monaco, with the super agent Jorge Mendes involved.
Then they claimed that José Mourinho’s side would be keeping an eye on the player as a possible target for the future.
The player already has 11 appearances for Monaco this season, being the club’s most important man to hold the midfield. His contract runs until 2019, and according to Transfermarkt he’s currently worth around €4.5m.
