It’s been over 18 months since Sandro Tonali has regularly featured for Brescia and he was instrumental in helping his side achieve promotion to Serie A.
The 19-year-old has impressed with his displays and his performances have not gone unnoticed as over the past few days, it’s again been reported Manchester United are scouting the midfielder.
Apart from the Red Devils, several clubs in Italy are looking at the teenager. Two days ago, we carried a report from Calciomercato, who explained that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side pose a ‘main threat’ to AC Milan for the player.
Calciomercato comes up with a latest update and they claim Manchester United are ‘seriously interested’ in the young star and their scouts are ‘constantly monitoring’ Tonali.
Any approach from United to sign Tonali will not be easy as another Italian outlet explained on Wednesday that Manchester City are also chasing Tonali, along with Inter Milan, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain.
Tonali has been compared to Italy legend Andrea Pirlo, but ex-Brescia striker Dario Hübner has advised the former to stay calm and focus on his development.
