Manchester United are ‘serious’ about a move for Adrien Rabiot this summer, with him available for €15-20m.
That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who also say Chelsea and Newcastle United are ‘thinking about’ the Frenchman.
The newspaper explains that Rabiot is one of the players Juventus would let go this summer as they look to reshape the squad and raise funds for incomings.
Unlike with the likes of Arthur, they are not desperate to get rid of Rabiot and indeed, if he stays, he would be a starter for Max Allegri.
However, his agent and designated intermediaries, are continuing to assess the market and possible opportunities as his contract expires next summer.
Manchester United are one of those to have shown a ‘serious’ interest, while Chelsea and Newcastle are ‘thinking about’ making a move as well. PSG are also in the mix.
That’s presumably because of Rabiot’s asking price, as he’s available for €15-20m, given he’s out of contract in a year.
Now, we would take Manchester United’s apparent interest with a pinch of salt as they are linked with Rabiot pretty much every year without any happening.
The same can be said of Chelsea to some extent, while Newcastle and their newfound money have put them in the picture in the last few months.
