The past couple of days has seen Toby Alderweireld to Manchester United come back into the picture. Sources from Germany have been doing their best to push Jerome Boateng into the frame, and now the Yerry Mina possibility has been dragged back out of the skip.
Mundo Deportivo report that on Sunday Manchester United presented some sort of offer for Yerry Mina. The club are said to have pushed an offer forward which is similar to that made by Everton.
Figures for the Everton offer have ranged from €25-32m and Mundo Deportivo don’t pick one out as their example.
Regardless, it’s stated Barcelona are holding out for €40m.
Lyon won’t give up, and that’s pushed by the Catalan newspaper. Monday saw a series of claims come from France about the Ligue 1 club making their own move and having some confidence.
Perhaps this is Barcelona’s effort to push them into offering more money, by claiming a Manchester United offer.
Lyon’s advantage over Everton had been Champions League football, but they don’t have that over the club from Manchester. Therefore Barca pushing the idea of a United offer could be useful.
