Manchester United are ‘reflecting’ on what to do with Diogo Dalot, with Ralf Rangnick now in charge of things at Old Trafford.
That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who cover how the change in management at United has changed Roma’s plans.
They’re desperate to sign a right-back, and Dalot, who impressed while on loan with AC Milan last year, was believed to be at the top of their list.
There have been numerous reports over the last few months about them making a move to take him back to Italy, but things have changed of late.
Earlier this week, we covered how the Serie A side’s interest had cooled and Corriere Dello Sport back that up.
They say that the Manchester United man was the ‘first choice’ for Roma until a few weeks ago, but the arrival of Rangnick has changed things.
Since the German’s appointment, Dalot has ‘returned to play with continuity’, and that has left Manchester United ‘reflecting’ on what to do with him.
A move away from the club is ‘no longer certain’, so Roma have instead turned their attention towards Norwich City’s Max Aarons and Benjamin Henrichs at RB Leipzig.
