Hirving Lozano is one of those players who have been linked to Manchester United for years. Long before he joined PSV in 2017, the Mexican starlet had already been pointed out as a target for the Old Trafford side.

This week, the player already revealed in an interview that the Red Devils were indeed interested in him a couple of seasons ago. Now the rumours seem to be back.

As reported by Calcio Napoli 24 today, Lozano has told PSV he would like to leave in the summer for a club with bigger amibitions.

The Dutch side would have accepted the request, as long as someone shows up offering €50-60m for him.

Napoli are one of the interested sides, with manager Carlo Ancelotti and president Aurelio De Laurentiis both convinced to make the signing. However, they don’t have the conditions to pay that much.

On the other hand, Manchester United, who would be the other club in the competition, can afford it. So although Napoli trust Ancelotti can push for the move using a personal talk with the player, the English club would be more prepared to make the signing.
