Again, the Italian media has a mention of Manchester United being a problem for Napoli in the Serie A club’s pursuit of Hirving Lozano.
Napoli have been chasing the PSV player for some time, and for some weeks it’s been clear that someone is telling the club’s local media about Manchester United interest.
That could of course simply be to put pressure on Napoli and others, but the claims around the Mexican aren’t going away.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that Manchester United are putting up ‘fierce competition’ to Napoli for the signing. The price is again put at €40m, which is described as a big investment for the club.
Previously it’s been stated that €40m is simply too much for the Naples side, but perhaps things are changing.
Either way, Manchester United could easily win on price and the €40m figure doesn’t look like a barrier for them.
As if often the case in the Italian media, it’s claimed the player would prefer a move to Italy.
PSG interest has been hinted at before by the Italian media, and Gazzetta say the French club would represent a problem for both the other two… but it’s worth nothing this isn’t something being pushed in France.
