All of a sudden, Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat seems to have become a top summer target for Manchester United.
The Red Devils’ pursuit of the 26-year-old today gets an update from Firenze Viola, who claims the Serie A side are currently waiting for an offer for him.
The report lists the clubs who are currently interested in Amrabat. Those are Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan, as well as teams from Saudi Arabia.
Regarding the Red Devils, it’s highlighted that the player has a ‘strong’ relationship with manager Erik ten Hag.
Fiorentina’s request is said to be of €30m, and it seems there are no clubs leading that race, because there’s ‘nothing concrete’ coming from the interested sides yet.
This week, a report from Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport claimed that Manchester United already have an agreement with the midfielder’s entourage, although a source told Sport Witness that the claims were actually not true.
So it seems Fiorentina will keep waiting for the market moves, and Amrabat is there waiting to be signed for a €30m fee, with Manchester United lurking around, potentially bookmarking the Morocco international for a bit later.
