Dušan Vlahović has been outstanding for Fiorentina this season, scoring 17 goals in 32 league matches.
His fine form for the Serie A side has helped him catch attention of Manchester United, if reports coming out of Italy are to be believed.
The Red Devils have joined other clubs in the ‘list of suitors’ for the 21-year-old, according to Sport Mediaset.
Vlahović has two more years left on his contract and it’s claimed Fiorentina chairman Rocco B. Commisso ‘asks’ for a €60m fee to sanction the striker’s sale in the next market.
The Old Trafford club chasing the Serbia international is also reported by TuttoMercatoWeb journalist Niccolò Ceccarini.
He claims the player is wanted by clubs in Italy, with AS Roma and AC Milan named as interested parties. From outside Italy, ‘primarily’ Borussia Dortmund, but also Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are interested in Vlahović.
Ceccarini also backs Sport Mediaset’s claims of the €60m valuation, while Fiorentina also have intention to retain their goalscoring star. However, there has been no progress in extending his contract.
Multiple reports on Friday explained Edinson Cavani is set to extend his stay at United beyond this season. If that happens, it’s highly unlikely the Premier League side will make an approach for Vlahović in the summer.
