Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs who are interested in the signing of French centre-back Dan-Aexel Zagadou.
The story comes from French outlet Media Foot Marseille, who today describes the race for the player, who’s been a free agent since his departure from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The outlet mostly highlights the interest from Inter Milan, who’ve been chasing Zagadou since missing out on Torino’s Bremer, who moved to Juventus instead.
They then say the Nerazzurri should ‘watch out for the competition’, since Manchester United ‘would also be very interested’ in the signing.
It turns out that isn’t the only time the Red Devils are mentioned in the story, as there’s also a third club watching this situation.
Media Foot Marseille explains that with PSG willing to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan, they expect the Nerazzurri to land Zagadou and let the Slovakian finally go.
That’s why the Ligue 1 side ‘hope that Manchester United will not achieve’ the free signing, even though there’s not a lot they can do about this situation, and just wait and see what will happen.
