On November 16th, RMC Sport reported Manchester United are one of the clubs keeping close tabs on AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana.
It was also stated the Red Devils tried signing the midfielder in the summer but the Ligue 1 side weren’t pleased with their loan offer.
Tutto Juve provide the latest on Manchester United’s desire to make another attempt to sign the 24-year-old.
Along with Erik ten Hag’s side, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring the midfielder. The Serie A side have shown a keen interest but it’s stated they have to worry about the Old Trafford club.
It’s said Manchester United would be ‘ready to overcome’ the battle with both the Serie A side and PSG in their pursuit of the France international. He has a deal until 2025 and the report states the player is valued at €30m.
Fofana joined the principality club from RC Strasbourg in January 2020. Tutto Juve claim he has ‘enjoyed a remarkable rise’ since his time with the latter and has continued to shine at Monaco.
Operating mainly as a defensive midfielder, he’s managed three assists from 12 games this season.
