Manchester United are among several Premier League clubs working to find out the availability of Paulo Dybala.
That’s what AS’ online edition are reporting today, and for them it’s related to Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Lionel Messi.
The Barcelona star has been linked to the Ligue 1 giants after Neymar expressed his desire to play again with his former teammate in 2021.
According to the report, Thomas Tuchel’s side have been working for some time to try and bring Messi to Paris. PSG will turn their attention towards Dybala if they fail to sign the six-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The Red Devils showed interest in the Serie A attacker in the summer of 2019, but failed to complete the deal for the 27-year-old, and he went on to impress last season, scoring 17 goals and registering 14 assists.
Dybala has now lost prominence at Juve under Andrea Pirlo and is yet to score a goal this term.
The newspaper states the South American is ‘looking for a way out with guarantees’, suggesting he wants to join a club that will assure him regular minutes.
According to AS’s report, Manchester United have been in touch with the player’s entourage, taking the initial steps for a transfer.
