As far as transfers go, the prospect of Dusan Vlahovic leaving Fiorentina in the next couple of weeks is one of the biggest in Europe.
That’s because a number of teams, with the latest being Manchester City, are fighting over his services, but no one’s offer has been accepted as of yet.
One of the problems many have encountered is trying to please the player’s agent, Darko Ristic, with an article from Wednesday making it clear his demands were very high.
Wanting around €8m, the representative intends to cash in on the Serbian’s transfer, and there was even a suggestion that if he didn’t lower his asking price, a transfer away from Fiorentina could be jeopardised.
That’s echoed on Thursday by Corriere dello Sport, who don’t mention Manchester City, but do go into detail regarding the agent commissions, as Atlético Madrid are only prepared to pay €5m, while Ristic wants around €7m.
This, however, doesn’t appear to be a problem for Pep Guardiola’s side, as Gazzetta dello Sport explain that, as well as having an offer of around €80m ready, they have already ‘reached a verbal agreement with the player and with his agent, who is asking for a rich commission’.
To us, that sounds like Manchester City are more than happy to pay was Ristic is asking for, which should, if they get an offer accepted by Fiorentina, facilitate any transfer taking the Serbian striker to the Etihad.
