Spanish imagirumour website Don Balon love a Manchester City story and will stretch the limits of their imagination to come up with things about Pep Guardiola’s transfer wishes.

Sunday brings their latest claims and it’s that Brahim Diaz has turned into something of a player-agent for the Premier League club.

Whilst away on international with Spain, the youngster has told national teammate Jordi Mboula that Guardiola has been following him ‘with considerable interest’ for a long time.

AS Monaco signed Mboula from Barcelona during the last summer transfer window, and the youngster has since been trying to find a way through to the club’s team.

At 19 years of age the right winger has plenty of time to develop, and it’s claimed that could lead him to Manchester City and playing alongside Diaz eventually.

Guardiola is said to have already tried to sign Mboula when the footballer left Barcelona, but the offer from Monaco was just too tempting. Given that, it would be a surprise if Manchester City returned for the player in the near future.
