Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has spoken to the Chilean media about his future.
Since his contract with the Premier League side is now expiring, there have been many rumours about where he’ll be playing next season.
Bravo was interviewed by journalist Gonzalo Galvez on Instagram, and it’s BioBioChile who brings some of his quotes.
“My stay in Manchester City is until June. Now, because of the pandemic, there’s a conversation with the club to extend the link for two more months and I agreed because I have an incredible relationship with Manchester City in all aspects.
“I got injured and the treatment was incredible, I am very grateful for all that.”
Claudio Bravo has claimed that his next club isn’t the most important thing, since he’s more concerned about where his family will live.
“I make the decisions, I decide where we go, where we can be more comfortable. It doesn’t just go through a club, through a ball. My biggest concern is my family, all my decisions are linked to them.
“The future work is what worries me the least, I have other more important things like my children, wife, my parents, friends. Since I was 10 years old I live for football, I have it very mechanised and it’s not something that worries me.”
Proof that Claudio Bravo’s future remains totally open is that he’s been linked to completely different kinds of clubs in the past few weeks.
It’s been reported he could stay in the Premier League to join Arsenal or go to Scotland to sign for Celtic. A move to MLS has also been on the cards, besides the possibility of returning to his home country to play for Colo Colo or Universidad Catolica.
