Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is ‘very close’ to agreeing a deal to leave Manchester City in this transfer market, according to reports from South America today.
Website 24Horas says the player has received a ‘tempting’ offer from Mexican side Monterrey.
It’s said that Bravo has offers from other Mexican and MLS sides, but this last invite is the one which is closest to taking him from England.
Monterrey are claimed to be after a goalkeeper after Marcelo Baroverno put his future in doubt when speaking to the local media this week.
It was at the end of November that many rumours about Claudio Bravo’s future started to appear, with Chilean outlets saying the goalkeeper could be joining New York City, which belongs to the same group as Manchester City.
Now as 24Horas sounds confident about the strength of Monterrey’s effort, let’s see if the goalkeeper would rather move to the United States or Mexico.
His contract with the Premier League side expires at the end of the season.
