Neymar to Manchester City has made its way from imagirumour websites like Don Balon to an actual Spanish newspaper.
Mundo Deportivo have a reasonably big splash on it in their Saturday edition and don’t lean on anyone else for the claims, presenting it as all their own work.
It’s claimed Manchester City are now on the list of candidates to sign Neymar from PSG, with the Spanish media increasingly certain the Brazilian hasn’t found what he was looking for in Paris and will be leaving soon.
Neymar is presented as a big fan of the Premier League, and with Mundo Deportivo saying Pep Guardiola’s City are the ‘absolute dominators’ in English football right now, the pieces fall into place.
As has been claimed in other reports, Neymar prefers a move to Real Madrid above all other options, but wouldn’t be totally against going to Manchester City instead.
For good measure, Manchester United are also thrown in, with Jose Mourinho ‘orphaned’ of a superstar now Zlatan Ibrahimovic has gone to LA Galaxy.
