Following the initial reports regarding São Paulo interest in Manchester City players Nahuel Ferraresi and Nahuel Bustos, those chases had gone a little quiet, especially with the striker being linked with other Brazilian clubs.
It turns out, however, that the Tricolor seem to have resumed their pursuit for the duo. Journalist André Hernan today features an update saying the club have big expectations about their chances of signing both players.
First speaking of Ferraresi, the reporter claims that a few weeks ago, São Paulo got to know the conditions and thought the business was very hard to advance. Despite cooling down the situation, they now ‘resumed with strength’.
It’s said talks between the Tricolor and Manchester City are happening this Monday and the talks could advance. The Premier League side’s idea is to get the defender’s sale, while the Brazilian club want a loan with a buying clause depending on performance goals.
Regarding Bustos, Hernan claims the negotiations for him are ‘more advanced’. Especially because the player sees the move ‘with good eyes’, as he already follows São Paulo on Instagram. For this transfer, the Tricolor also want a loan with a buying option, and only ‘details’ are missing for it to be done, especially because of the player’s wish to join them.
It’s said the expectation is to ‘advance with the business’ this week.
