Earlier this week, we’ve seen reports from the Portuguese media claiming Manchester City loanee Pedro Porro could switch clubs twice this summer.
It’s said that the fullback, who’s having a loan spell at Sporting, is now wanted by the likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
So after the Lions trigger the €8.5m buying option they have for the Manchester City player, it’s possible the clubs will battle for his signing, with the Lisbon side demanding over €30m for the sale.
Now as newspaper Record writes about his situation, they claim things should happen a little slower, as Porro already has a plan in his mind.
The story first claims he already has a verbal agreement with Sporting, and once the Lions buy him from Manchester City, he’ll sign a deal with the Portuguese side until 2025. That’s expected to happen at the end of the season.
Then regarding a potential transfer out of the Lions, it’s claimed that despite having ‘a lot of market’, the player actually wants to ‘delay’ a move out of the club.
Record writes that after being bought by Sporting, Porro would like to stay there for at least one more season, and only then move to a ‘league of bigger dimension’.
