Borussia Dortmund are eyeing up another raid on Manchester City, this time to sign youngster Jayden Braaf.
That’s according to BILD, who say the Bundesliga side have been watching the 18-year-old for ‘a long time’.
Reports in England recently claimed that Dortmund were already in agreement with Braaf over a move to Germany and were set to make him the third player, following Jadon Sanch and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, to swap City for Dortmund.
BILD cover that today and say while there is no agreement with Braaf or Manchester City as yet, they are certainly interested in finding one.
They’ve been following Braaf for a while and are ‘very interested’ in signing him as they see plenty of parallels between him and Sancho.
Like Sancho, the youngster is said to be unhappy with the lack of chances at the Etihad and is eyeing a move away in the summer to further his development.
That’s alerted Dortmund, who have already signed up Sancho in the past and added the likes of Erlin Haaland and Jude Bellingham to their ranks of talented youngsters since.
Braaf would be the latest addition, with it believed Manchester City would want between €8-10m to sanction a deal, although they would also want to secure a buyback option in case of another Sancho like rise.
