Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is today linked to a Manchester City move.
The news comes from the Italian media, where newspaper La Reppublica (via Area Napoli) talks about the possibility of an offer from the Premier League side.
It’s reported that following his holidays, the player arrived at the Serie A this week and should now take part in the pre-season training.
However, it’s still not certain he’ll stay at the club, as there are movements for his signing in the transfer market.
Regarding Manchester City, it’s said the interest from the Pep Guardiola side hasn’t turned into an official offer yet.
The newspaper points out that the club are not in good terms with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis following the breakdown in negotiations for the signing of Jorginho a few years ago.
It’s said Zielinski knows about that and now feels even more important at Napoli’s project.
He signed a contract extension last year, meaning any transfer to take him away from the Serie A side will be a rather expensive affair.
