Manchester City could make ‘an extremely attractive offer’ to Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala to lure him away from Bavaria.

That’s according to BILD, who follow up claims from yesterday that Manchester City are firmly in the race for Musiala’s signature.

The newspaper explains that because Bayern are not planning any contract negotiations with Musiala for the time being, with his current deal expiring in 2026, that’s led to speculation about his future.

Even if Bayern were to seek talks the player and his management aren’t interested at the moment as Musiala wants to see how his situation at the club under Thomas Tuchel develops. He’s playing something of a bit part role under the German at present, far from what he expected.

That doubt has led to the interest in him and clubs like Manchester City lining up, with it believed they can ‘make him an extremely attractive offer’.

Musiala values the potential to win titles and individual awards in future and he will question whether he can do both at Bayern and their plans for him.

Manchester City, though, can be ‘convincing’ as they can not only offer him the chance to be part of a squad already full of world-class players but a world-class manager in Pep Guardiola and a trophy laden history under him.

Guardiola is believed to be a ‘big Musiala fan’ as well and, alongside Manchester City’s ‘endless financial resources’ the situation is considered as ‘dangerous’ for Bayern.

They, and the press in Germany seem to seriously believe that City are not only keen but that there’s a big chance they could push to take Musiala to the Etihad in the coming months.
