Th Spaniard has been heavily linked to Swansea, with Real Sociedad also tracking the player. Yesterday, Spanish website AS reported Llorente had agreed personal terms to sign for the Welsh club.
Both sides are yet to agree on a transfer fee, but AS reported Swansea City might end up signing the player on a free transfer as Sevilla are desperate to offload him from their wage bill.
Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli has confirmed Llorente is leaving the club, and they respect his career decision.
“It is an uncertainty. We thought he was going to leave the club, then that would be. I respect his career,” he told El Correo.
Napoli are also reportedly interested in Llorente, but Swansea appear to be in pole position to sign the Spaniard.
