According to Fotospor, new Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin has spoken with the Turkish club’s goalkeeping coach Levent Acil about the form of Liverpool loanee Loris Karius.

Yalcin is reportedly unhappy with Karius’ recent performances and it’s claimed he’s getting sick of the German goalkeeper’s costly errors.

Karius was once again at fault during Besiktas 2-1 win against Caykur Rizespor at the weekend, and Fotospor report Yalcin has told Acil he wants to see a new face in goal.

The Turkish website claims the Liverpool owned player is enjoying the nightlife in Istanbul more than he should be, and that’s one of the reasons why his performance levels have dropped.

It’s also stated that the Besiktas board are targeting two goalkeepers ahead of the summer transfer window to replace Karius, with Basaksehir’s Volkan Babacan and Caykur Rizespor’s Gokhan Akkan said to be their primary targets.

When his loan spell at Besiktas comes to an end in the summer it’s likely he will have to find a new club as it seems Jurgen Klopp is currently happy his goalkeeping options.
